Osaka.

Skyline views. Streets full of life.

Begin with the Umeda Sky Building for an open-air view of Osaka, then explore the city at street level. Keep your observatory visit flexible for visibility and leave time for food and neighbourhood walks.

Observatory visit

Our suggestion: 1–2 hours

Plan the sequence

Osaka in one or two days

Group your plans by neighbourhood, with room around the observatory for changing weather and the journey through Osaka’s stations.

One day

See Umeda from above

Explore the Umeda area, visit the observatory and leave time for a meal afterwards. Choose daylight for orientation or evening for the city lights.

Plan your Umeda Sky Building visit

Two days

Give each district its own time

Keep one day around Umeda. Save another for the streets around Namba and Dotonbori instead of repeatedly crossing the city between fixed bookings.

Winter or rain

Keep the rooftop plan flexible

Check visibility before setting out. Bring a warm layer for the open-air deck, use indoor viewing areas for breaks and keep a sheltered alternative for poor weather.
