History
The park’s theming draws on the Emirates’ pearl-diving heritage through the story of a lost pearl. It is a modern leisure park rather than a heritage museum, using that narrative to connect its slides, settings and family entertainment.
Why visit
Choose it for an active water-based day, with a mix of thrill levels for different members of the group. Review height and health restrictions first; people who prefer gentle attractions should plan their route without assuming every slide suits them.
Tickets and included access
The selected entry-and-shuttle option covers one day and scheduled shuttle services. Fast access and meal vouchers require the relevant selected variant. Towels, lockers, cabanas, Pearl Diving, Underwater VR, Fish Pipe and Pearl Masters are excluded from the listed base scope.
Prices and value
Compare the final admission cost with the extras you need, particularly storage and towels for the whole group. A multi-park option only helps if you intend to use the additional admission and can meet its validity conditions.
Opening hours
Check the official calendar and event notices for your date. The reviewed 2026 Ladies Day schedule includes 30 October and 6 November, with separate event tickets and restricted male admission; ordinary general-entry assumptions should not be applied to those sessions.
Getting there
Go to Yas Island and follow current entrance and parking signs. The official FAQ notes a temporary parking arrangement, so do not rely on an old map alone. For the included shuttle, confirm both boarding details and return timing.
What to see
Balance the larger slides with rivers and family areas that match your group’s abilities. Use the day’s map and availability notices to choose priorities; the number of advertised attractions does not establish that every feature will operate during your visit.
Practical tips
Wear appropriate swimwear without exposed metal that could damage slides. Follow lifeguard directions and use the supplied safety equipment as instructed. Keep valuables stored and bring sun protection suitable for an outdoor waterpark; photography is prohibited during the privacy-focused Ladies Day event.
How much time to allow
Allow four to six hours as a practical estimate, then add changing, meals and transport. Young children or groups moving at different speeds may need longer. Confirm the last shuttle before settling into the final activities of the day.
Winter planning
Winter can be pleasant for outdoor activity, but wind and cooler air may feel chilly when leaving the water. Bring dry clothes and check the current operating calendar for maintenance or event changes; seasonal comfort does not guarantee unrestricted opening.
